GESTÃO FINANCEIRA NAS ATIVIDADES AGRÍCOLAS: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA DA LITERATURA

Resumo

A gestão financeira figura como um dos assuntos dotados de maior complexidade e polêmica no âmbito das atividades agrícolas. Assim, investigar a literatura científica a fim de explorar múltiplas características de uma temática emergente mostra-se essencial. Nesse sentido, a pesquisa realizada teve como objetivo analisar de que maneira os estudos abordam a temática da gestão financeira no contexto das atividades agrícolas. Para tanto, empregou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa e exploratória operacionalizada por meio de uma revisão sistemática da literatura. A base de dados selecionada foi a Web of Science e por meio de determinados critérios e orientações de busca, obteve-se um portfólio composto por 97 artigos científicos. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que os últimos quatro anos (2020-2023) respondem por praticamente 65% do conjunto de estudos analisados. Também se constatou que as pesquisas sobre gestão financeira e atividades agrícolas estão distribuídas em três clusters, cujas abordagens predominantes são as seguintes: (i) Estratégia e Inovação; (ii) Avaliação e Controle Financeiro, e; (iii) Operacionalização e Processos. As contribuições da investigação realizada respaldam-se na caracterização dos estudos científicos, o que fornece subsídios para maximizar a compreensão sobre a complexidade da gestão financeira no âmbito do agronegócio, bem com sua miríade de dimensões e elementos relacionados. Assim, emergem insights a respeito dos desafios da gestão financeira no agronegócio, bem como suas especificidades e potencialidades.

Financial management is one of the most complex and controversial subjects in the context of agricultural activities. Therefore, investigating the scientific literature in order to explore multiple characteristics of an emerging theme is essential. In this sense, the research carried out aimed to analyze how studies address the theme of financial management in the context of agricultural activities. To this end, a qualitative and exploratory research was used, operationalized through a systematic literature review. The database selected was the Web of Science and, through certain search criteria and guidelines, a portfolio composed of 97 scientific articles was obtained. The results obtained showed that the last four years (2020-2023) account for almost 65% of the set of studies analyzed. It was also found that research on financial management and agricultural activities is distributed in three clusters, whose predominant approaches are the following: (i) Strategy and Innovation; (ii) Financial Assessment and Control; and; (iii) Operationalization and Processes. The contributions of the research carried out are supported by the characterization of scientific studies, which provides support to maximize understanding of the complexity of financial management in agribusiness, as well as its myriad of dimensions and related elements. Thus, insights emerge regarding the challenges of financial management in agribusiness, as well as its specificities and potentialities.
