About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Amazonian Journal of Physics Teaching (AJPT) is a monthly, refereed journal, with an emphasis on Physics Teaching at secondary and higher levels developed in the Amazon Region, other regions of the country and also in other countries.
The objectives are to disseminate reports of experiences and new methodologies developed by Physics teachers in the classroom. Contributing to the quality of Physics teaching given in networks of schools and institutions that train Physics teachers.
Peer Review Process
The works submitted to the journal are analyzed, anonymously, by at least two external reviewers, selected for their specialty or affinity with the subject of the articles under consideration. In case of disagreement in the opinions, a third party is consulted. Only articles with two favorable opinions will be accepted for publication.
Periodicity
The AJPT has continuous publication with an annual volume.
Open Access Policy
This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge provides greater world democratization of knowledge.

Journal history
AJPT was born in 2019 and was designed by the coordination of the Master in Physics Teaching, Collegiate and Collegiate of the Physics Department. Today the AJPT is managed by the Research Group on Experimental and Applied Physics - RGEAP
The aim is to present a tool for disseminating the production of activities in the areas of teaching Physics developed in schools and universities in the State of Rondônia and Amazônia. Not limited to any region of the country and free for any author and reader around the world who is interested in the areas of Physics teaching.
