NAÇÃO, NACIONALISMO E RACIONALIZAÇÃO EDÊNICA NOS INTERIORES DO TERRITÓRIO BRASILEIRO

Este trabalho posta-se como um debate a respeito da racionalização e ressignificação do edenismo secular sobre o território brasileiro. A despeito da carga imaginária e simbólica no espaço geográfico nacional, ao longo século XX houve consideráveis esforços de exploração do potencial econômico, e também político e simbólico, dos recursos naturais do país, especialmente aqueles localizados à oeste e norte dos centros urbanos e demográficos. Espera-se, com este artigo, contribuir para a discussão sobre o uso e exploração, dos recursos naturais presentes no território brasileiro, campo de estudo com abertura e proficuidade de aprofundamento pela ciência geográfica e demais campos do saber que possam dialogar e corroborar com esta análise.
