Este trabalho investiga o tema da participação feminina no contemporâneo, trazendo como proposta examinar o
protagonismo da mulher na unidade de produção familiar rural nos Projetos de Assentamentos Espinhara e Polo Antônio de Holanda
no município de Bujari (AC). Para subsidiar o debate sobre a representação e organização do território, gênero e poder, elege-se como
perspectiva teórico-metodológica a técnica de pesquisa bibliográfica e atividade de campo. Para tanto, procura-se responder
basicamente a seguinte questão: Como são configuradas as relações de poder e de gênero nas unidades de produção familiar rurais?
Destarte, a hipótese da pesquisa é a de que a participação feminina realiza-se através do protagonismo, da busca de intercomunicação
e da reconfiguração das redes de interação entre as representações e as organizações dos saberes, compreendendo, assim, as dinâmicas
sociais envolvidas na geografia do empoderamento das mulheres.
