Socioeconomic vulnerability is evident in the segregated spaces of our cities. It is noticeable that even small and medium-sized urban centers, such as the city of Manacapuru - AM, experience this problem, directly affecting the quality of life of individuals who inhabit these spaces. In the case of environmental problems, low-income social groups have more difficulty in facing their effects, especially those related to climate. This work aims to analyze the thermal comfort of the city of Manacapuru - AM, considering the aspects related to socioeconomic vulnerability. Within the observations collected in the field, it was possible to realize that the residents of the Correnteza neighborhood were the most affected by the climatic conditions of the city. Once, the residences, in their great majority, present small dimensions and their constructive materials are inadequate to the local climatic conditions. Regarding the analysis of thermal comfort indices, it was possible to observe that two of the questionnaires applied were in the "heat discomfort" range, the others were mostly within the "slight heat discomfort" range and four within the "upper limit of the comfort zone" range. The application of the questionnaires revealed that 87% of the interviewees from the Correnteza neighborhood have their houses affected by the flooding of the Solimões River. The climate perception of the residents who have houses on stilts was more significant, this is due to the thermal capacity of the water around them and the materials used in construction, such as aluminum tile roofing and fiber cement, which are not suitable for local climatic conditions.
