A NOTÁVEL MOBILIDADE DOS [IJXA]KARITIANA - (SÉCULO XVIII, XIX E XX) - DA LIBERDADE EDÊNICA PARA O CONFINAMENTO E SEDENTARISMO IMPOSITIVO DA FUNAI

Resumo

O objeto deste artigo é a “notável mobilidade resistencial” do povo [Ijxa]Karitiana no decorrer dos séculos XVIII, XIX e XX e o objetivo é demonstrar que, na realidade, essa mobilidade é tão somente uma estratégia de RESISTÊNCIA ao poder dominador dos brancos (sic), que lhes causam terror, extermínio, semi-escravidão e sofrimento. A metodologia empregada para a elaboração do trabalho consistiu, em sua essência, na pesquisa exploratória, na pesquisa descritiva e na pesquisa explicativa e, por se tratar de material já elaborado encontrado em livros, relatórios, dissertação de mestrado e artigos científicos, utilizamos também da pesquisa bibliográfica e, ipso facto, da pesquisa documental. Ao final do pesquisa, os autores concluíram que os [Ijxa]Karitiana, salvos do extermínio total por suas próprias forças, são vencidos pela ganância e  pelo poder (das armas de fogo, inclusive) do homem branco (sic), submetidos à migração forçada pelo Estado brasileiro para longe de sua terra tradicional onde, em poucos anos, constatam carência de proteína aquática e silvestre além da enorme melancolia resultante da perda da proto-pátria. Eternamente inconformados, sonham em reaver o território de onde foram arrancados sem dó nem piedade, onde havia fartura de alimentos e vida confortável.

 Abstract:

The object of this article is the “remarkable resistance mobility” of the [Ijxa]Karitiana people throughout the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries and the objective is to demonstrate that, in reality, this mobility is only a strategy of RESISTANCE to the dominating power of whites (sic), which cause them terror, extermination, semi-slavery and suffering. The methodology used to prepare the work consisted, in essence, of exploratory research, descriptive research and explanatory research and, as it is already prepared material found in books, reports, master's thesis and scientific articles, we also used the bibliographical research and, ipso facto, documental research. At the end of the research, the authors concluded that the [Ijxa]Karitiana, saved from total extermination by their own forces, are defeated by the greed and power (including firearms) of the white man (sic), subjected to forced migration by the Brazilian State away from their traditional land where, in a few years, they find a lack of aquatic and wild protein, in addition to the enormous melancholy resulting from the loss of the proto-homeland. Eternally dissatisfied, they dream of reclaiming the territory from which they were uprooted without pity or pity, where there was plenty of food and a comfortable life.
