Abstract

In this article, we seek to understand the challenges of teaching practices developed by elementary school teachers in a rural school in the surroundings of the city of Manaus. In addition to a reflection on the learning proposals that the Active Methodologies present as important in the construction of new knowledge. And how this new method of education can make classes more dynamic and attractive. Making it possible to discuss possible paths in actions and procedures, as essential pedagogical conditions in practice. Including as a proposal, the use of technologies in practical outdoor classes, using digital tools. As a general objective, we seek to: reflect the perception of Geography teachers at this school, on their teaching praxis in view of the model that the active methodology presents, through its assumptions, fundamentals, its conceptual characteristics, and its methods. The bibliographic research is based on current theorists who deal with the themes analyzed in the bibliographic references, (VASQUEZ, 1977. MORAN, 2015. BACICH, 2018. CARVALHO NETO, 2018). For methodological and procedural purposes, approach data are qualitative. As a result of the research, it was verified that the Active Methodologies used in the teaching-learning in the rural school, show us more active and reflective teachers with this new teaching process, making us more engaged and seeking to awaken the student's interest in their teaching practices.
