The main objective of this work was to analyze the limnological variables and verify the possible agents that cause impacts on the water quality of the Tarumã-Açu River. Among the parameters collected in the field carried out on November 10, 2021, three parameters were selected: Hydrogenionic Potential (pH), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Electrical Conductivity (EC) and Total Dissolved Solids (STD), which were ad -acquired using the Hanna instruments portable multiparameter (HI98184). The field was carried out during the ebb of the Rio Negro and its tributaries, such as the Tarumã-Açu river. In the present study, it was possible to observe the pH values that showed a small change established by values of 3.67 near the Tíu stream as the minimum value collected on the day, and 7.70 as the maximum value acquired near the Tíu stream. Giant. In terms of dissolved Oxygen, we obtained a maximum of 9.94 mg/L at the mouth of the Bolivian stream, and a minimum of 3.57 mg/L near the mouth of the Panemão stream, thus acquiring an average of 7.19 mg/L L. The EC ranges from 7.0 µS/cm and an TDS of 13.78 mg/L in some parts of the Tarumã-Açu river, to an EC of 175 µS/cm with an TDS of 356.13 mg/L in the Igarapé from Bolivia. It is worth mentioning that the lower course is directly influenced by the Rio Negro, given that its pressure and speed are different from those of the Tarumã-Açu river, thus making it easier to dissipate loads arising from these anthropic actions.
