The territorial dynamics of Amazonian riverside communities have always been influenced by water movements, and their seasonal periods dictate the communities' dynamics. In this Amazonian context, the São Luis do Macari community has been suffering severe recurring consequences from land collapses, as this phenomenon is part of these residents' experiences, leading them to move from one place to another, consistently dismantling and reconstructing their homes farther from the riverbanks. The research aims to develop a proposal for educational material to understand the risks associated with land collapses in the community. For this case study, remote sensing data was used to survey the main occurrence points of the phenomenon and to compare erosive processes between the years 2018 to 2020, quantifying the houses destroyed during these highlighted years. Through the produced materials, it was possible to comprehend the main causes influencing the phenomenon and its repercussions on the community's territorial dynamics. It becomes crucial to analyze this phenomenon from a geographical perspective, defining the main causes and involved agents, as based on the results, public officials and the community can take precautions against similar processes in the future.
