EDUCACIÓN VIRTUAL, INCLUSIÓN Y RECONSTRUCCIÓN EDUCATIVA EN LA EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR GLOBAL: UNA REVISIÓN SISTEMÁTICA

Resumen

RESUMEN: La educación virtual surge como una alternativa al modelo tradicional, promoviendo inclusión educativa y progreso a través de la igualdad. En este contexto, la presente investigación se basa en una revisión sistemática para explorar el estado actual de los entornos virtuales en universidades de todo el mundo. Para ello, se realizó una búsqueda en Web of Science, donde se encontraron un total de 437 resultados de artículos. Para respaldar este análisis, se utilizó información bibliométrica abordando Bibliometrix. Estos artículos revelan el creciente impacto de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC) en el sector educativo, así como el aumento de investigaciones en los últimos años. Es relevante resaltar que la educación virtual ya estaba experimentando un crecimiento incluso antes del comienzo de la pandemia. Sin embargo, en respuesta a los desafíos como se ha evidenciado en investigaciones recientes, ha sido ampliamente adoptada para satisfacer las demandas tecnológicas.
