Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have been incorporated into academic activities as a means to bring together and integrate professors and students with more dynamic learning. This article discusses the use of the podcast as an active methodology in the teaching-learning process with Geography teachers of the graduate course in Geography and has the general objective: to analyze the use of the anchor application as a didactic tool for the production of a podcast as a learning resource for those students. And specific: apprehend the importance of active methodologies in the teaching-learning process, especially the use of podcasts. The method used was the phenomenological followed by the following procedures: bibliographical and documental research and interviews with post-graduate students of the specialization. As a result, it was found that, although being a methodological novelty for many graduate students, it was positively evaluated, as they learned to handle a didactic resource and will be able to use it in the classroom with their current and/or future students. The podcast is a resource that facilitates learning if worked correctly, with good planning, theoretical basis, technical guidance and monitoring by the teacher.
