This project sought to apply pedagogical strategies in the teaching and learning of Geography through the use of geotechnologies in the school environment. Teaching materials, image charts and thematic workshops were produced to train students in geotechnologies, disseminating and facilitating the learning of content related to Remote Sensing, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Geoprocessing, bringing current technologies closer to everyday life in a wide range of applications. The target audience was high school students. The workshops contributed to a meaningful approach to Geography in the school environment, promoting the integration of the school in the process of technological and scientific innovation. The results showed that promoting the use of geotechnologies in the school environment equips students to use different geotechnologies, as well as encouraging scientific research with high school students, helping students to use new technologies, spreading the use of geotechnologies in the school environment and awakening the scientific vocation of regular school students.
