STUDY CASE: ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND REMOTE TEACHING IN SECOND ELEMENTARY EDUCATION SCHOOLS IN GUAJARÁ-MIRIM-RO DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Abstract
Post-war events generated the regeneration of society in the 1960s, with economic and industrial growth aimed at reflecting on the environment. Thus Environmental Education (EE) becomes an essential practice, this research sought to investigate, analyze and verify the conceptions of teachers from state public schools Capitão Godoy and Paulo Saldanha in the city of Guajará-Mirim, in the state of Rondônia, on the issue of knowledge regarding the environment and EE, through actions and projects developed in these spaces. This research used documental analysis and application of a questionnaire, in order to identify the characteristics of EE present in the projects and actions of the schools, in order to infer about its effects on the understanding of socio-environmental issues constant in our society. Based on the results, it was possible to reflect on ways to help future practices in these institutions.
