RESISTANCE AND COMMUNITY TOURISM IN RESEX PRAINHA DO CANTO TOLD FROM THE LEADERS

The phenomenon of tourism began to be studied from 1970 onwards based on some important approaches, for example, inspired by more balanced development, rural tourism, cultural tourism and sustainable tourism and more recently community tourism. This article analyzed the phenomenon of community tourism in the Prainha do Canto Verde Extractive Reserve, Ceará, based on the narratives of the leaders. The study was qualitative and descriptive of the existing scientific production on community tourism. The methodology was supported through bibliographical, documentary and social media research; and also, through direct observation of the Resex Prainha Canto Verde, as a fan of the tourist segment, where I used the information and daily conversations with the leaders as a methodological resource. That said, the investigation revealed that leaders commonly suffer from physical and emotional fatigue; in addition to suffering from the devaluation of their own peers.
