Ceará indigenous population is approximately 35 thousand people, which represent the 15 ethnic groups existing in the state. These ethnic groups have in their histories processes of struggle and resistance regarding their territories' demarcation and cultures strengthening. In this sense, the present work intends to analyze the relationship between the territorial struggle and food culture of the Jenipapo-Kanindé people, whose Indigenous Land is located in the municipality of Aquiraz, 53 km from the state capital. The theme's intersection begins with the Mocororó celebration, an event focused on the fermented cashew-based indigenous drink. The main intention of the party is to celebrate their land recognition, declared in a lawsuit sentence. The date chosen for the party is November 4th and the first celebration happened in the year 2017. It always occurs on the same date, except for 2020 as the pandemic of COVID-19 was occurring. The adopted methodology for this work was qualitative with bibliographic reviews, 5 semi-structured interviews from May 2019 to February 2021, fieldwork, and participant observation during the 2019 Mocororó party. It was identified that the party represents not only the demarcation of the land but the victory against business groups that threatened these people.
