Abstract

ABSTRACT: This scientific article aims to discuss the poetry containedin Abriu, Abriste, Abreu by the writer from São Paulo, Osvaldo Copertino Duarte. Its corpus is the 24 (twenty-four) poems that make up the book. The objective is to discuss the relationshins between image, rhythm and playfulness and the possible approaches contemporary universe. Methhodologically, the discussion begins by showing the contemporar context, and then discusses Children’s Literature. Finally, present an analytical reading of the poems. The approach is intrinsic and will be carried out through the semiotic studies of Iuri Lotman, combined with cultural studies that deal with the contemporary. We hope to reach the conclusion that in the eyes of this investigation, we cannot consider the book as representing a single aesthetic moment, it is a reductionist principle, due to the hybrid character that the book presents, it moves between one or more contexts. In this sense, and from this perspective we will show that the relationship between the contemporary context and aspects of Children’s Literature is a tension factor, which prevents determining or typifying the verses in that ot that literary current. Wehopethat the results will. We hope that the results will contribute to increasing the dissemination of the writer’s poetic work.
