A STUDY OF THE HOTEL INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE CITY OF TEFÉ/AM

ABSTRACT
The study proposes to investigate the infrastructure of hotels in the city of Tefé/Am, with the main objective of analyzing the hotel infrastructure of the central part of the city of Tefé, aiming at the tourist demand. Evidencing the specific objectives of identifying and mapping the regularized hotels that make up the hotel network of the central part of Tefé; to understand the dynamics of the hotel chain of Tefé, as important aspects for tourism. The research starts from a methodology of quantitative and qualitative analysis, with bibliographic review, field research, with application of questionnaire to demonstrate the mapping and account for the results. Based on the methodological aspects, of bibliographic research of the results, of the article of the Author (ALMEIDA; 2009) "Matrix of Evaluation of Tourist Potential of Receiving Localities", which translates the hierarchical levels of those of the Brazilian Tourism Company – EMBRATUR.Thus describe the results of the dynamics of the hotel infrastructure of Tefé. We will try to highlight the category "space" and the concepts of Tourism, Tourist Space, Hospitality and Tourist as a theoretical vision. The analysis made in the research of the infrastructure, had relevant and significant result, because it presents a very significant amount of hotels in the central area, personalized services, the value of the daily on average is R $ 70.00 to R$300,00 depending on the hotel chosen, the different audiences that seek the services: example (merchants, farmers, entrepreneurs, workers and companies). Finally, the analysis of the study of the hotel infrastructure of the central area of Tefé / Am, brought the reflection, very significant, because they contribute to the economy of the city and the services offered to tourists in particular.
