Abstract

This work presents a planned activity from an investigative case in the aspect of intimate debate with the goal to identify and characterize the discursive interactions between students and reveal the conceptual appropriation through the statements produced. It participated in these activity six students of Environmental Chemistry course at the Federal University of Tocantins - Campus of Gurupi. Data collection was done by recording the debate, which was later transcribed in full for the analysis of discursive interactions and epistemic operations. During the analysis, we observed a pattern of interaction between students Initiation type - (Various) Answers - Summary Final, which differ from other works of literature in function of the way students conduct the debate. The statements made by student’s transit between the experiences level and the model and theory level, evidencing how the learning does. These results make it possible to understand how come statements of students and allow the teacher to evaluate the conceptual appropriation on the subject.
