Survey of cinematographic works por use in teaching geography

This study addresses the importance of the insertion of Cinema in the school environment, regarding the applicability in Basic Education, in the discipline of Geography. Thus, it aimed to raise films to be used as a didactic resource in the teaching process of Geography in High School. The contents of this stage of Education were analyzed, through textbooks used in a State School of the municipality of Itaúba/MT and categorized. The scientific relevance of this research is presented with the concern of the correlation of the cinematographic works with the content taught in the classroom. For this reflection, the study was based on the following methodological procedure: at first a bibliographical research; In a second stage the identification of the geographic contents developed in the High School using the didactic book, was used for this, the content analysis. Finally, it was concluded that the use of different didactic resources potentiates the process of teaching learning, even more if it is the Seventh Art, which with its playfulness can bring the reality of daily life in the projections. It is also worth noting that Geography needs innovative didactic means in the construction of its knowledge, since it constitutes a science that seeks to understand society and its relations with nature.
Este estudio aborda la importancia de la inserción del Cine en el ámbito escolar, en lo que se refiere a la aplicabilidad en la Educación Básica, en la disciplina de Geografía. Así, objetivó levantar películas para ser utilizados como recurso didáctico en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de Geografía en la Enseñanza Media. Los contenidos de esta etapa de la Educación fueron analizados, por medio de libros didácticos utilizados en una Escuela Estadual del municipio de Itaúba/MT y categorizados. La relevancia científica de esta investigación se presenta con la preocupación de la correlación de las obras cinematográficas con los contenidos ministrados en el aula. Para esa reflexión, el estudio se valió del siguiente procedimiento metodológico: en un primer momento una investigación bibliográfica; En una segunda etapa la identificación de los contenidos geográficos desarrollados en la Enseñanza Media utilizando el libro didáctico, se utilizó para ello, el análisis de contenido. Se concluye, finalmente, que el uso de diferentes recursos didácticos potencian el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, aún más si se trata del Séptimo Arte, que con su ludicidad es capaz de traer la realidad de la vida cotidiana en las proyecciones. Se vale también de la constatación de que la Geografía precisa de medios didácticos innovadores en la construcción de su conocimiento, pues se constituye en una ciencia que busca entender la sociedad y sus relaciones con la naturaleza.
