Use of the powtoon web tool for the development of didactic animations in chemistry teaching

This study investigates the following problem: How can the use of dynamic teaching tools contribute as a pedagogical proposal for the teaching of science in the classroom and in the development of cognitive skills? In this context, the discussion of the possibility of using a learning object created through the online tool PowToon was outlined, supported by a constructivist approach, with the aim of awakening in the student a critical awareness that provides the problematization of issues related to science, technology and society (CTS) approach. The work was designed as participatory research for generating knowledge and changes based on knowledge linked to the students' social reality. The study was formatted through the previous development of a script that contextualizes a basic education syllabus to a daily situation, the central idea was to launch a problem situation for the subject, and through this situation he should seek solutions to the issues made explicit and thus build their own knowledge.References
